Dinner and party

Our party takes place in the middle of the beautiful forest of Garderen. We will share the exact location one month before the wedding, so it remains a nice surprise. To talk extensively with everyone, we ask you to leave the children at home. Our direct nieces and nephews will be present. The ceremony starts at 16:00.

From the parking lot, it's about 7 minutes walk on an unpaved forest path to the party location. Because the area is part of Natura 2000 [and managed by Staatsbosbeheer], no cars are allowed past the parking lot. Do you have difficulty walking? Then it's possible to be picked up and brought from the parking lot to the party location. Please let us know in your RSVP.

Because we are guests of Staatsbosbeheer, they ask us to leave the site at 22:00 [just before sunset]. If you’d like to continue celebrating after the wedding, feel free go for a relaxed drink at the hotel’s cozy pub. It will be open until 1:00 AM. Drinks are at your own expense.

Dresscode: Festive

We ask our guests to dress festively. Here you can find inspiration. Our location is in the middle of the forest. Therefore, please consider appropriate footwear and possibly bring an extra layer for when it cools down in the evening, so you can enjoy comfortably all day.

During the party, several fires will be burning. So it's possible that your clothing will have a subtle campfire scent at the end of the evening, perfectly fitting the atmosphere!


Hotel

We are staying at hotel De Werelt Garderen. Are you also staying overnight? Then we would love it if you stay at the same hotel. The hotel is about 5.5 km from the party location.

Taxi-bus

There is a taxi-bus available to and from the hotel in the afternoon and evening. In the RSVP you can indicate if you want to ride along. We ask for a contribution of €25 per person.

Photos

We would love to experience this day together, without screens in between. That’s why we kindly ask you not to take photos during the wedding. A professional photographer will be present to capture everything.We have chosen not to schedule a formal posing moment with family or friends, so everyone can enjoy the day in a relaxed way and this spontaneity is reflected in the photos. But! During dinner and the party, there will be several disposable cameras available, and we would love it if you use those to take lots of fun photos.
